Terms of use

Last updated: 19 October 2026

The rules for using this website, what our product information does and does not promise, and how demos, evaluations and pilots of IgnitePII work.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms govern your use of this website, which is operated by Zerodayops ("we", "us"). By using the site or submitting the demo request form, you agree to them. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

These terms cover the website only. Use of the IgnitePII software, including evaluations and pilots, is governed by a separate licence or evaluation agreement, described in section 4.

2. Product information on this site

We describe IgnitePII as accurately as we can. Capability figures, such as the number of detectors, regions, connectors, file formats and compliance packs, reflect detection rulepack builtin v2026.10.2 and release v0.6.0. Later releases may change them.

Website content is general information. It is not an offer, a warranty or a commitment to deliver a feature. Only a signed agreement sets out what we commit to provide.

3. Compliance mappings are not certification

IgnitePII compliance packs, including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CCPA, India DPDP, Singapore PDPA, UAE PDPL, Saudi PDPL, Qatar DPL, Bahrain PDPL and the GCC bundle, set the scope of a scan to the identifiers each regulation is concerned with. They are mapped to those regulations.

Using IgnitePII does not by itself make an organisation compliant with any law or standard, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Please consult your own legal and compliance advisers about your obligations.

4. Demos, evaluations and pilots

  • Demos, evaluation images such as the bootable ISO, and pilots are provided under a separate evaluation or licence agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
  • You must be authorised to scan every data source you connect. That includes endpoints, file shares, databases, cloud storage and SaaS accounts. You are responsible for any notices or approvals your organisation needs before scanning, such as informing employees.
  • Evaluation software is provided for assessment, not production use. Don't rely on it as your only control for protecting personal data.
  • In the default deployment, scan content and findings stay in your environment. We don't receive them unless you choose to share them with us, for example in a support request.

5. Acceptable use of this site

When using this site, you agree not to:

  • give false details in the demo request form, or submit someone else's details without their permission;
  • send malware, spam, or automated submissions to the form;
  • try to access the site's administration area, other users' data, or systems you are not authorised to use;
  • load-test, scan for vulnerabilities in, or attempt to disrupt the site without our written permission, except as allowed in section 6;
  • copy or scrape the site's content in bulk, or use it to build a competing product.

We may block access from networks that break these rules.

6. Reporting security issues

If you find a security vulnerability in this site or in IgnitePII, please email hello@zerodayops.com with "Security" in the subject line. Include enough detail for us to reproduce it.

We won't take legal action against good-faith research that avoids privacy violations, data destruction and service disruption, stops at the minimum needed to show the issue, and gives us reasonable time to fix it before any public disclosure.

7. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, text, graphics and code belong to Zerodayops or our licensors. You may view and print pages for evaluating IgnitePII. Any other use needs our written permission.

IgnitePII and its logo are trademarks of Zerodayops. Other product and company names on this site, such as cloud providers and regulators, belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or coverage. Their use does not imply endorsement.

8. Third-party services and links

The site relies on third-party services, listed in our Privacy notice, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party sites or their content.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data you send us is explained in our Privacy notice.

10. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the site, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zerodayops is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to INR 10,000 or USD 100, whichever is lower.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud. Liability relating to the IgnitePII software is governed by your licence or evaluation agreement.

12. Export controls

IgnitePII is security software and may be subject to export control and sanctions laws. You agree not to request, download or use evaluation software in breach of those laws, or on behalf of a sanctioned person or country.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
